Climbing Peru
The Peruvian Andes provide some of the world's greatest
mountain-climbing challenges. This is why Peru has
become a magnet for climbers. And there are plenty
of reasons why: a unique concentration of mountains
(so they are not saturated with climbers); a benign
climate during most of the year; and relatively easy
access to environments which are nonetheless isolated
from urban centers. This singular combination has
made Peru one of the most attractive destinations
for mountain climbing lovers all over the world.

Hiking at the Cordillera Blanca
The Cordillera Blanca is riddled with countless trekking
circuits. However, some of them have become world-famous:
the route of the Quebrada Santa Cruz gully is possibly
the most popular of all. The trek sets out from Cashapampa
and ends up in the gorge of Quebrada Llanganuco, at
the edge of the emerald-green waters of the Llanganuco
lakes.
